The office is well equipped with the newest materials and technology on the current market. Diagnostic devices include digital radiographs and i-CAT® (Cone Beam Volumetric Tomography)
i-CAT® 3D Volumetric Tomography
This scanning device has a patient friendly design that allows patients to sit upright during the entire procedure. An electric powered seat is built into the device for proper patient positioning.
The i-CAT® system captures data and volumetric images providing a complete 3D view for more thorough analysis of bone structure and tooth orientation.
Collecting such precise data helps treatment plan and execute the following procedures:
Airway / Sinus - treatment for snoring and sleep apnea
TM joints - treatment for temporomandibular joint dysfunction
Nerve canals - endodontic treatment (root canal therapy)
Reconstructed panoramic - orthodontics and oral surgery
Reconstructed cephalometrics - orthodontics and oral surgery
Cone Beam Volumetric Tomography is a medical imaging technique that uses X-rays to obtain cross-sectional images of the head or neck. Imaging displays both high-density tissue, such as bone, and soft tissue.
